Supporting sustainable business

Groundwork works in partnership with businesses to provide practical support to enable them to increase their profitability and competitiveness while also reducing their negative impact on the environment and improving health & safety. This might involve an environmental audit examining waste reduction, a review looking at the use of all raw materials and resources, helping a business adopt an accredited environmental management system, or reduce insurance premiums through improved health & safety systems.

Through our Environmental Business Services (EBS) Groundwork helps businesses to:

  • Safeguard future competitiveness by reducing operating costs and increasing efficiency and productivity
  • Comply with, and keep ahead of the latest environmental and health and safety legislation
  • Reduce the amount of waste, improve energy efficiency and establish the effective use of raw materials
  • Develop the knowledge and skills of employees through a wide range of accredited and non accredited training

Because Groundwork MSSTT is a social enterprise, there are no shareholders to distribute profits to. Instead, we offer social dividends to support the local community in a variety of innovative ways. Our purpose is to serve businesses and the community by improving the environment of both. If saving money, improving your company’s performance and investing in the local community is important to you, talk to EBS now.
